Impatience is a persistent ailment that threatens to take hold. Forsaking ones own country in favor of another is difficult enough, but enduring this bureaucratic wait is excrutiating. I am beyond ready to finally be there...

I am immigrating from the US to Canada and chose to do everything by the books. Perhaps I should have simply crossed the border and called it 'home'...but I am the eternal perfectionist and this process is no exception. It has to be done right. I'm just incredibly eager to get there so that I can finally put my roots down, apply at Emily Carr as I've been dreaming of for so long or...go back to school to become a Pediatric Nurse. Here...in this 'In Between' space...everything is on hold...indefinitely. And I'm not getting any younger...

Today is just one of those impatient days......it'll pass.
